What is everyone's go to load so far?
I just picked up my rifle from the smith (1-8 twist with .080" free bore, 22" barrel), have components, dies, etc., just curious what is working for other shooters.
I'm going to work with 75, 80, and 88 grain Hornady's to start.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Have a 22cm in the works- still thinking on barrel length. Going to suppress it as a truck gun- leaning towards 20-22" with a 75gr Amax as fast as I can push it.
What is your goal with yours?

don't know why, but after reading this thread, I was busy working on the lawn mowers carb, and for some reason..... what popped into my mind..... was recalling annual certification on the M60 machine gun when I was in the service and reserves....
then was thinking of an M60 out shooting prairie dogs, chambered in the 22 Creedmoor....
bet that would be a lot of fun... but also made me think that would be one hell of a machine gun with 22 caliber 80 or 88 grain bullets... certainly long range or flat shooting...
a 6 Creedmoor with 110 or 115 grain bullets would be even moreso of a good thing....

If it works out perfectly I’d like the 75’s at 3450fps or the 88’s at 3200+. Goal is shooting steel to 500+ yards and use it for hunting deer and varmits.

Over the weekend I got to do some load development with the 75's and 88's.
75 ELD RL23- 43 grains Starline-6 creed brass LRP CCI 250 COAL-2.641" Sub MOA, but not final, I need to play with COAL a bit, and maybe tweak the charge a few 1/10ths. Should be over 3,400 fps
88 ELD RL-19- 38.5 grains Starline 6 creed brass LRP CCI250 COAL-2.662" Sub MOA, very close to done with this one. Again, fine tune COAL and test +/- a couple 1/10ths on charge weight. Should be at or slightly over 3,200 fps.
I did do an initial run up on Alpha 22 Creedmoor SRP brass with the 75's. At 41 grains of RL 23 showed a decent ejector mark, so started over with Starline and had no trouble or other signs of pressure.
The 75'S with 43 grains of RL 23 is a stiffer load than the 88's with 38.5 grains of RL19.
I found these loads on internet searches, and these were the powders that I had on hand to start with.
Total of about 50 rounds through the rifle. RAR 22-250 1-8 twist reamed to 22 Creedmoor. I did have to file out the barrel channel at the tip of the forend to get a good free float. Groups got 10-20% better immediately.
