Mel Gibson is still working in Hollywood, although not nearly as much as he once did. Jim Caviezel has repeatedly said that Hollywood will no longer employ him because he had the audacity to portray Jesus Christ in Mel's movie. For domestic gross, Passion of the Christ is indeed the number one R rated movie, bringing in almost 371 Million, although it came in 2nd behind Deadpool worldwide, which brought in 783 Million. While it's true that all liberals are crazy people, not all crazy people are liberals.

Jim Caviezel was in the TV series "Person of Interest" for about 5 seasons (IIRC) which, BTW, was a decent show . . . So, he has had some work since the Passion movie. It surprises me that it was #1 or #2 depending on how you look at it though.
