I like that! That stock really looks like it would be great for an all around hunting rig - congrats man you are getting some really nice toys lately. Now - what's in that other box

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Thanks...I’ve warmed a lot to my 7/08 after I had my Smith add a spacer in the stock. .30 Cals are hard for me to quit, obviously. 😎

Note....This was a budget build...Hence all the APR stamped components. For me this was a good way to fly. 😎

Looks great!! Pretty sure the APR action is made by TL industries for them. TL also makes the LAW actions.

They put together a nice rifle for the money...Good Texan people to work with, too. 😬
A while back I bought a used 28N from APR. It shot knots.
They had slicked up a straight Rem action with their fluted bolt then stuffed the chunky girl in a Grayboe Renegade handle.
I sent original stock off to a pard, then I raped a brand new stock with a couple cans of color and a few tampons...It was such an eye sore, I couldn’t take it anymore...McM is coming for it. 😂
If that 28 Nosler didn’t shoot the way it does. We wouldn’t be here today.
Thanks for the intel on who makes the action for them. 😎

Man, that's quite a looker! Wish I'd have known you were conjuring that color scheme - I'd have offered a rare green Decelerator pad.

APR does an absolutely incredible job on their builds. They've done 2 for me and work on 2 others... and 1 more I'm getting ready to drop off.
Here's what I can tell you about their McM APR Hunter. It is a phenomenal design... if you are right handed. It still has a bit of cast and RH palm swell. The comb height and fore end width are as perfect as you can have on a hunting rifle IMO. And it can fit any barrel you'd desire on a hunting rifle. You can see it in Beaver10's pic from the underside of the rifle.
Great choice of stock for someone not looking to go full vertical with a Game scout/warden or Manners EH1!!

Bad ass rig...... too bad about the .30 cal bore though.... laffin. I hear yah...Can’t deny the ballistic shortcomings of the .30’s with all the better bc offerings in .284 and.264 projectiles. This rig did come with a box of Kleenex. Very thoughtful of APR 🥴😎

[quote=Beaver10]Unwrapped and not disappointed.
APR 300 Wby
Build sheet:
K&P Match Sendero Barrel 1:10 with Micro Ratchet Flutes. 26.5” at 5/8x24 threads.
PTG recoil lug
Action is APR Stamped. Looks similar to a Stiller cloned Rem 700
Bolt is APR Spiral flutes
Bottom Metal. APR BDL with Octagon trigger guard. Fancy!
Trigger Tech Primary for the Go button
APR 20 MOA Rail and 2” bipod rail on stock forend.
Stock is called APR Carbon Fiber Hunter with cups
I don’t have a scale, but I have a 7lb Nosler M48 in 270 WSM. This rifle weighs right around 7.5lb with bolt.
Fit and tolerance of metal and stock are centered perfectly. I almost forgot about the threaded muzzle, I couldn’t see the cut line.
Bolt is smoooth as silk and locks up tight.
It’s a very nice rifle with excellent pointing and balance throwing it up.
If it shoots...I will have hit a home run 😎

Did your rifle come with the McMillan APR Hunter or the AG Composites APR Hunter stock? I was told they were made to the same specs. Good looking rifle, congrats.
