What, a three shooter? That would be all you could fit into any cylinder that would fit into a J-Frame.

Guys here and there know that I buy stuff.

Had one offered to me for $150 a couple of years back. I declined thinking it was likely worthless.

Have seen a couple of guys with them at the range in the past few weeks. They looked to shoot OK.

Next one that gets offered to me on the cheap may come home...

PS The Bulldog frame is actually stronger than a similar sized S&W frame due to Charter Arms' innovative one piece design, i.e., no side plate. I believe it was designed by a Colt revolver engineer who had an idea about improving the strength of Colt revolvers, but was not permitted to develop it with Colt, so established his own company, i.e., Charter Arms.

TRH, have you got some back up for that. That's stuff I haven't heard. I do know that the only gun Buffalo Bore ammo mentions that shouldn't used in, was the Charter Arms Bull dog.
That's why I only use Blazer Gold dot Hollow point.

This is the statement that Buffalo Bore makes:

"This ammunition is for use in ALL 44 SPL and 44 MAG. firearms except for the Charter Arms Bull Dog. No, this ammo won't blow up your Bull Dog, but if you shoot more than a few hundred rounds of this ammo in a Bull Dog, the gun will get looser than it already was, will go out of "time" and stop working."

Tikkanuts' Taurus is attractive.

I agree. Tikkanut's Taurus is a nice gun. I'm hoping someone grabs it before I get weak, and I can't afford that, I just bought another gun.

That's because the Bulldog is the minimum weight, size/strength, to handle the caliber. That doesn't detract in any way from the statement that the once-piece (no side plate) design is superior strength-wise, all else being equal.

i never see a comment on a bulldog, that i don't think of a friend of mine. a deputy back in the day of six shot revolvers.
he stops a car one day, the guy jumps out with a hi cap semiauto, and unloads in his windshield.
I ran into the deputy a few weeks later buying a bulldog as a backup to that model 19.
