I received my Win 94 Trapper in 30-30 Pre Cross Bolt Safety i purchased on Auction Arms I removed the front blade sight and rear sight and replaced with a William Fool Proof and William Gold Bead. The front sight was to long so had to grind off the back and reblue so it wouldn't hit and past the Barrel Band. I also added Uncle Mikes QD Swivels. The rifle is ready to hunt with now. Photo before and after.

Very nice Trapper.I have the same sight setup, without the swivels, & I added a pachmayr pad to tame the 170 Fed. Prem's recoil. It has to be the handiest, most trustworthy rifle ever made.

I had another a few years back and let my doctor buddy have it and regretted it ever since . This one has a home.

I've owned a couple of those. Nice little rifles.

I also have a 20 inch Winchester 94 made back in the 70's but like the Trapper better than the standard.

Can you tell me the original specs for the Williams front sight you used on your carbine in the first set of photos? That's for the 16" barrel with the dovetailed gold bead sight.
