Buffalo Bore 100 grain standard pressure hard cast flat point .380 that averages 958 fps out of the test gun. This would be the load to carry if you are carrying a .380 off pavement. (I realize that is controversial, so there is no need to point that out.) (See part 1 for info about the test gel.) I forgot to put the pork chops in front of the ribs. So, the front and back materials each include a set of pork ribs and 4 layers of denim.

I think it depends. For me, the Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator makes more sense on pavement. On the other hand, my wife likes to take long hikes in the woods and mountains near our cabin. She hates carrying a 2+ pound .40, and her follow-up shots are slow. She loves carrying a S&W Sheild .380 EZ. So, hers is loaded with the Buffalo Bores, and she can sling them accurately and at a good pace. Her gun gets an average of an extra 46 fps over the Glock 42 with the Buffalo Bore.
