I found out the same thing when I called. But saved $500+ over their standard orders anyways so sucked it up and paid the $30 shipping.

I got turned down the first time also, called customer service. explained the ad shows free shipping and they agreed to ship it free. We will see what card shows and he made a note to reflect this. I would call and contest the shipping charge.

This is my first SWFA scope, and it's going on my 6.5 Grendel AR build. If I like it I will maybe order another one, but even though I paid just under $30 for S&H, it was still cheaper than paying full price and getting free shipping through Amazon Prime.
