You are looking too deep to find something wrong. If local_dirt is truly offended I’m sure the dialogue would be much different.

Shrapnel and I talked on the phone and this was just my misunderstanding of intent. No need to make a big deal but wanted to shout out to Kirk and says thanks for reaching out to me personally, that was a very cool thing to do.

The toothache thread reminded me of this one:

Comes a headache, you can lose it in a day
Comes a toothache, see your dentist right away
Comes love, nothing can be done

Best thread ever! My dad used to say that people who didn't 'get' jazz had trouble doing math in their headgrin

I think Take 5 by Brubeck is tops but there are so many great jazz tunes. Here is one I sure like:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8VPmtyLqSY

I had the great pleasure to see/hear Stan Getz play in a small venue at Stanford University back in about 1988.

I was also fortunate to see Miles Davis at the Hollywood Bowl in about 1989 or 1990.

I really like Big Band music and Sing Sin Sing is my favorite of that genre.
