certainly the india people know that india is special.

then there's the europeans, and the english, and the french,etc.

i suspect the ruskies, and the chinese are nationalistic at least to an extent.

some roughly 200 countries in this vorld, all decided or bounded by choice or tradition?

if'n there were 100 countries, major type, or 300 countries in more detail, what difference would it make?

I believe so. The key phrase being "right people." America does benefit from some immigration, as long as they are the right people---meaning they come here to BE Americans and participate in the Great Experiment that is America.

The only reason for letting the wrong people in is to break the country down to the point that borders do not even matter anymore. Nationalism in America will survive until such a time that this happens. Unfortunately, it does not seem that the day is so far away.

One of the reasons the globalst left is engaging in a smear campaign against President Trump, Putin, Orban, Salvini, Bolsonaro, Duterte and other anti-globalist leaders, is that they are nationalists putting the best interests of their people and countries first. The First and Second Amendments to the US Constitution pretty much sum up why the USA is the top dog.

National boundaries are sometimes artificial, especially in the wake of the British Empire.
Extended families form tribes. Allied tribes form true nations.
Nationalism rooted in family and tribe is true.
India has about 6 to 12 major distinct family tribe subsections and the fight amongst themselves.
Empire in diversity is only kept together by tyranny as evidenced in America today.
Nationalism is growing in Eastern Europe and the Baltics.
