I was there a couple of years ago and it's the craziest place I've ever been.

Me too in early 80s for a month on business. Enjoyed the hell out of it. No interest in going back either.

Forty years ago the wife and I spent the first few days of out honeymoon on Fisherman's Warf in San Fran. She asked if I wanted to go back for a 40th re-do - I said no way in hell would I ever set foot in that city again. Really sad...

I was there last year. It’s a disgusting 💩hole. It’s a shame but they got what they asked for.

Can we maybe build a fence 15 miles out of city center before it blows?
Good idea but you'd have to go a lot farther out than 15 miles.

I drove thru the city for the last time in 2004. Didn't want to be there then and have no plans to go back.

it's like seeing a cocoon for the first time and wondering what the hell is going to come out of that? The City is changing faster than residents can fathom and no one at my level is certainof the outcome. it is growing - expanding in wealth and stupidity faster than the managers can catalogue it. Most are too busy dealing with their responsibilities and cannot predict what new problems are going to be. They have a hard time reacting to the ones in front of their noses.

It's been about 4 years since I was there, but I enjoyed myself. Then again I am the type who can find enjoyment in watching a high homeless man dry hump and hug a tree while he talks to it.

The left, democrats, liberals, communist, socialist, islamites, and globalist run the city. They destroy whatever they touch. What did you expect would happen?

Good article.
The underlying theme to me was that the freak show has been forced out of San Francisco and unleashed upon other cities, cities like Seattle, Portland, Denver, etc. “Gayborhoods” have become homogeneous, outrageously over-priced and over-gentrified to the point that the faqs had to move and infest their “tolerance” on the rest of the country. God help this country! I thought AIDS would be nature’s mechanism of control but it was overruled by science.

If you’re going to San Francisco be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.

The city needs a new management team. Send 'em Big Bird Bill DeBlasio from NY City for a new mayor and Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for a city manager and they can redistribute all that newfound wealth and make it all nice and livable again. What could go wrong ?

San Franpsyco is no different than any other big city. Disgusting liberal [bleep] controlled by radical minorities.
