colorado bob Campfire Tracker Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 4,665	Pretty common. About every other month there is someone driving the wrong way on I-40 near ABQ. Usually a head on crash killing the whole family & the drunk driver lives. Usually it's he's 4 or 5 DWI.

But it's not uncommon to see people with3,4,5 Day's. Obviously the punishment isn't high enough, I work with a few guys who do it regularly. And they feel it's ok, as long as they stick to the back roads. The Pa rural backroads, The ones that are one big lane wide, no cuts, no fill, just up down and around. But you know, no cops, so it's fine. Pfhuk the family they kill. Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

We had one of those a few years ago on US 380 where one of the innocents was killed and the other crippled for life. The drunk driver was by himself and he was also killed.... in his County vehicle. He was the County Sheriff. Never holler whoa or look back in a tight place
