I realize this is a shot in the dark, but I don't suppose anyone would have any 40-70 SS brass for Shilo rifles they would be willing to part with?
Every place I check has the same status - out of stock...

Might as well ask if someone would loan you a winning lotto ticket. Jamison at best but no action going on over there as I speak, Hornady 405's out of production. Stretched 30-40 Krag from BACO? RCC will probably turn it for you at $7+ a piece. For your info 45-2.4 Starline makes into 40-70 SBN. Like good 44-90 brass and 44-77 SBN damned few and far between.

It took me years to find and get the rifle - a Shiloh Rough Rider with a 26" barrel that weighs in about 8.5 pounds.
Perfect for hunting... if I can just find the brass now!

The guy I got the rifle and all the bullets from called me and said he meant to ship his brass to me as well but forgot so he is sending me what he had.
In addition to that, an older gentleman on another forum that says he no longer shoots offered me what he had for a price I couldn't refuse. I am waiting on 120 brand new, and 80 previously fired cases to arrive from him!

Does this mean I should buy a lottery ticket?
