Anyone have a handle on the best diameter Thor to use in a TC 1-28" barrel, or do they vary enough to make the sample pack a good idea? My sons both drew ML tags for CO, and one will carry his own Strike, the other mine.

Thanks.

go to muzzle-loaders.com and order the one size fits all those. Its .503 and has adjusting slits that squeeze down to the size of your bore as you load it.

Too late, already ordered a couple sizing packs. Still early, so I'll probably order those too.

Those guys ship fast, and cheap. Where have they been all my life?

I'm also looking into peep sights; either the NECGW or a simple peep blade for the Williams rear, which has worked well on a couple other rifles.

Thanks.

Fury custom bullets offers sizing packs of their bonded full bores. Great bullets at a great price.

Dennis has a new tipped version also that is not on the website yet.

For a receiver sight you can also install a Weaver base and a XS peep sight. You will probably need a taller front sight. XS used to include a plastic front sight to determine proper height for your load. You can also use a roofing nail with the head filed to fit the dovetail.
