Whats the best way to go about getting into a 10-22 for suppressor? Was wanting a hogue stock.Didnt know if i should buy a donor and start buying what i want for it or if there was a good option otherwise.Just wanting to know the bes way to go about it.Thanks!

I would look at this model. Less out of pocket than going a donor gun and then buying a barrel. Street price should be about 285.00.

I found the Kidd spring kit a must for shooting low velocity 22LR---use the lightest rated spring and the rifle will cycle with even the CCI quiet-22

Yeah Lennie i looked at that one,might just go that route to save money.

Pappy wanting an all around gun, mainly to shoot vermin when cow checking and other small game.How are you getting along with your new ruger?

Hogues work fine for bull barrel builds where they're essentially irrelevant to accuracy, and the rubber overmolded ones are quiet for hunting and comfortable in the hand. For hunting use, I certainly prefer mine to the original barrel band stock and the various zytel boat paddle stocks that Ruger used to sell.
