Last stock I bought was a Midway Corelite which I really liked as it is light! Those are now unobtainable so is there something similar (as in a classic style) that is fairly light???
I don’t want to spend a bunch.....
Thanks

Boyd's ain't real light,but typically Skookum,from an inlet/performance perspective.

What barrel length?

Hint............

18.5” Aluminum threaded. A devoted suppressor host....

I was disappointed that I had not socked away a spare Corelite.. The Hogue is pretty heavy but it may get the nod...Unless Boyd’s sells a walnut version..Maybe...

I'd not go Hogue in the application. Reasons being the .920" interface and the Can Dangle to boot. You'll be chasing your tail.

I'd go laminate and never look back.

KIDD ULW's are .875" in a Hogue .920" inlet...if you keep it in mind.

In a 16" S/S .920" less a can,I'd Hogue...mainly because I have.

Hint..............(grin)

Acculite / Whistlepig are the barrels I have used with great success.... At least one shoots Stingers into knots...

I get it...but I'd just want care to roll your blueprint into a Hogue.

Plywood handles tend to hold zero, weather all storms and can be favorably pressed into duty with more than a improvisations.

Hint...............(grin)

Dave,

Not a classic style, but very light and east to shoot.

And, will handle any barrel channel.

I had one, traded it away, getting another.

I had a tactical solutions barrel on mine. Super light and very accurate.

Just need to add studs for a sling.

Wish they made this for a Rem 700 SA.

Most who TacSol here, drive Hogue...as they are handy in Winter.

I fhuqking LOVE my KIDD ULW fluted .875" in it's Hogue.

Some of the boys were asking about relative Precision,so I peeled the Romeo and stabbed on an MQ. No good on a 'pod, even when trying to be nice(vertical).

All good from an improvised ruck, amidship.

I went with a Stocky's Stock in Walnut and have been very happy with it. They're going for $200 right now. I paid a little extra and got the gloss finish.. still not sure if I like that part better or not. Pictured without the scope here.

Since this is designed for short range I am thinking a red dot or similar...

Since I am asking...Those require a Picatinny base? Not a Weaver?
