Posting this for a gunsmith friend here in Grand Junction (Ray Montgomery) that is Internet/computer challenged. He's trying to help out a young guy with budget constraints convert his Rem 700 .223 to a .243. Ray has a take-off 243 barrel but is in need of a bolt. I do not have one but aren't the feed rails different and just would not feed properly???

Perhaps, but Ray Montgomery will address that and it won't leave his shop unless it works properly.
