Thanks man.

I'm gonna give those a try as I've ended up carrying WAY too many keys and organization isn't one of my strong suits.

About 30 years go I ordered a Case Sodbuster in yellow Delrin with Chrome Vanadium steel. It came with Tru-Sharp stainless steel. I kept it, mostly in a drawer, but finally gave it a try. The Tru-Sharp was way better than I expected, especially in its ability to get crazy sharp. It's a heavier knife than I want to carry every day, but it has its uses.

I love the Case Peanut. Funny, I used to think they were too small to be worth a damn. A smart fella told me "It ain't how big, it's how sharp." I tried one out for a bit and found that once you got the thin blade razor sharp, you really didn't need much else.... at least until you needed to process big chunks of meat.... even then you could do it, it'd just be messy.

I've got a little pile of Peanuts now.

I have several Case knives. I do the things you are advised not to do with a good knife. I cut wire, open cans, chip ice, drive screws etc. That is why I buy Case. The work and they don't break. When I read some one's list of good knives and it doesn't include case knives I can't accept that person as a knife expert.

Any corrosion issues from the sheath?

I love em and prefer a size that fits in that small change pocket of my jeans. I find keeping a larger one in the regular pocket kind of annoying so for those I prefer prefer a clip. I keep misplacing one mini in particular. May be sacrilege here but it was white synthetic and I find it beautiful. Had the classic red logo which fell out . I sent it in and they put in a black Ruger logo which was a turn off for me. (No knock on Ruger lovers). Now I can't find it. Again. Hope it turns up. It is a 2-blade and just a little bigger than the peanut which I also have.

Never seen a pair of jeans without a watch/change pocket. Carhartt, Wranglers, Levis, Buddy's, Roundhouse..... etc all generally come with that little pocket on the right front right above the right pocket.

I don’t store the knife or blades in the sheath. The little blade slots in the sheath are plastic, so the blades do not lay against leather. The blade steel is stainless anyway.

Just being a grumpy curmudgeon. Never heard it called a change pocket,
Hell, a pocket watch Is bigger that a quarter, and one would pull it out by the lanyard.
Can't imagine my arthritic fingers fishing a dime out of that little pocker.

That little pocket is good for a knife though.... Especially a Case Peanut, though some of the 3.5 inch closed knives fit in some of the pockets.

On mine the corrosion is coming from the snap on the sheath and the corrosion is on the bolster.
I took it out of the sheath years ago due to it.
maybe it's a different model as the sheath I have doesn't have plastic separators either.
