I'm getting my usual father's day breakfast. Cornmeal cakes, ham, bacon, and eggs. I could eat that any day all year long but its reserved for father's day, something to look forward to before the work day. Hopefully some booty when the sun goes down šŸ˜‰. You guys cooking? Mama making something special for you? Happy father's day.

How do you do cornmeal cakes?

I havenā€™t even thought about tomorrowā€™s dinner. Tonight is chicken on the grill, coleslaw, and corn on the cob. Plus the boy caught a nice crappie today Iā€™m gonna fry up for him.

Not sure how she does it exactly. I think it's course corn meal and sweet corn. Kinda like a fritter. They are delicious. Congrats on the fishšŸ‘sounds great

Heā€™s pretty stoked. Took some convincing that it wasnā€™t a piranha and that the fish is actually called a crappie.

He didnā€™t believe either for a minute. Lol.

Don't know what the wife will conjure up. Just want to spend time with my 2 girls and wife of course. Been gone out of town working the past 2 weeks. Will be great to just be at home.

Will likely have clams.

Tomorrowā€™s low tide is a -2.2 Should be some good geoduck digging!

Iā€™m quite fond of them made into ceviche. Quick pan fry with butter is good too. Hell, sliced thin and eaten raw is delicious.

Cmon man. Kidding right? Microwave those fkrs. Mustard and a slice of bread makes it gourmet! That's damn near everyday lunch in the shop. And if you have kraut and some potato chips that's a DAMN good mealšŸ˜€

My youngest turned 10 today, so I scraped up his favorite breakfast for him. Some of dads biscuits and gravy. Tonight he wants to go out for sushi. Sounds good to me!

Wife and I cooked.

Green bean casserole, grilled pork loin chops, mashed reds with cream and butter, lettuce salad with home made blue cheese.

Daughter made a home made strawberry short cake.

Salmon Nigiri for the birthday boy and a "Isaac bang bang" roll for momma and I. Some tempura shrimp, crab meat, spicy tuna, tobiko, avocado, and a whole bunch of other schit piled in a double roll. Pretty damn tasty washed down with a Sake bomb! Of course the chef makes up some freebees for appetizers and the boys finished things off with fried Oreos.
