I found another new toy. My pictures do not do it justice.

[Linked Image]

Its a 7MM Remington Magnum on a Model 70 action with a #3 contour 8 twist Brux barrel , Accuracy Innovations stock, black cerakote, fluting and muzzle brake built by Plainfield Precision in Fallston, NC. It weighs in at 8.79 pounds.

The gunsmith built the rifle for his father who wound up not wanting it and I found he rifle on the consignment rack at a local gun shop. It has 100 rounds down the tube and bugholes the Berger 180 VLD.

Now, all I need to do is decide on a scope

Looks really good to me. I too am scratching the 7RM itch with a custom rifle set to arrive Monday. Had pretty much every other normal and several wildcats above and below it so I figured it was time to see what the 7 can do. Plan is 175-180’s for the barrels life.

Meopta is awesome glass for the price. I think the 4.5x14x44 is on sale right now for a great price. I own 7 of them and they do not disappoint.
