I don't have my books with. Did the post war 1950s RS ship with a sling, or without sling? I know it had the sling eyes and a Redfield 70LH.

No sling on the RS in the 50’s.
Redfield 70LH Lyman #31 front sight Rear sight filled with a blank.
Both R and RS in the 50’s had sling eyes.

Both R and RS in the 59’s had sling eyes. That's what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming.
