Was also considering the Phlitz mandolin case, but they're out of stock everywhere. Everybody's taking up the mandolin these days. smile

As far as the Law Tactical goes. Didn't see the need for the extra weight or the extra $200+.

I've used a mandolin bag for 10 years.....tell people I have a Eastman MD305 would like to get a deal on a Gibson.....LOL

I have the Sneakybags Spyder covert as well as the 5.11 COVRT Shorty. I prefer the 5.11, but it's not made anymore but the Spyder is not a bad bag either.

The Sneaky Bags are nice, but I spent 1/4 of that on the UTG and I am not at all disappointed with the quality of the UTG.

Good luck with the UTG bag. They're only 4 miles from my house and have a rep for splitting seams.

HEADS UP: Soft double carbine case at Woot for $40.00 in various colors. List price is $90.00. I bought one about a month ago in 42" for my POF Renegade AR Pistol -w- a 10.5" barrel. Fits perfect. They are now back on sale. Worth a look. Good value. If interested, jump on it .... quantities and length of sale are usually limited.
