I had a lot of Fun, and filled Both my Tags, Both were Nice Big Mature Gobblers with Hens.

This was my 1st Bird, It was cold and Frosty on this Morning


And my 2nd Gobbler


My Dad’s 1st, this was also a Mature Gobbler with Hens

Thanks guy’s! They are Merriams, We are predominately Merriams here in Northern Idaho, but have some Rio, and Easterns according to the Game Dept. My dad has gotten 2 Gobblers over the Years that were Completely Different looking, He was Confident they were Easterns. Merriams is all i have personally seen here. These Merriams are Beautiful Birds when Strutted up, LOTS of White

LOVES me some Merriam's !! Or ANY gobbling bird, for that matter...…………. The country you hunt Merriam's in is some of the most spectacular in the sport.
