Conversely, statistics can be very useful.

I did not SAY otherwise. Just ILLUSTRATING that putting all of ones eggs in the same basket can be unwise. Just ILLUSTRATING how STATISTICS are obtained is IMPORTANT if one can find that out. Just ILLUSTRATING that STATISTICS can be MANIPULATED by those that have a POINT to prove.
Just ILLUSTRATING that STATISTICS can be USEFUL depending on how they are OBTAINED and by the AGENDA of the COMPILER.
That is ALL. Not trying to CAUSE a STIR ANGUISH, TURMOIL, CONFUSION and a whole HOST of other THINGS one could NAME.
