My recent 7mm Remington Magnum acquisition has a Brux barrel.

I have never tried a Brux ( right now all I have on hand are Shilen, Douglas, and Hart) but I do know they have a fine reputation.

What has been the experience with them from those of you who have used the Brux?

I have a couple, 6.5 Swede and .338-06. I have been very pleased with both and would use one again if the need arose.

I had 2 7MM-08's built by Jon Beanland and both had #3 contour Brux barrels. Both rifles are extremely accurate, no complaints with Brux. I'd use one of their #3's any day on a build.

Very accurate, very easy to clean, and the company is easy to deal with.

I'm having a 6mm Creedmoor being built with a Brux 1in 8 twist barrel.
It'll be my first experience with a Brux.
I picked up the barrel second hand, so I didn't go out and choose Brux, but didn't shy away from purchasing it.

Hoping it will be a good one!

I have .22-204, .257R and 7RM Brux barrels. They are top notch, among the best.

I also have barrels by Shilen, Kreiger, Broughton, Douglas, PacNor, HS Precision and others.

IMO, some as good, none better than Brux. I would not hesitate getting another Brux.

Lets see.... I have used Douglas, Shilen, Lilja, Kreiger and Mike Rock blanks along with a bunch of Brux tubes. Like DF said, some as good, none better. I totally agree!

Have a 1-7" .224 I need to send to Shaen for .223AI M70 project.

I hear really great things about how good they shoot.

Dealing with them was fantastic fwiw.
