My buddy and I received general Wyoming tags this year. I am hoping that some of you would have some knowledge as to what areas are good for bow hunting and rifle hunting. My friend is leaning towards bow however I hope to do a week of bow and a week of rifle if I can swing it. I have been putting this off till now so I need to get down to business.

Let me ask it a different way. I'm looking at unit 13, 21, and unit 89. Has anyone hunted these units?

Yes, I have hunted 21. Be ready for a big crowd of people. Because non-residents cannot hunt in Wilderness Areas without a guide, the non-Wilderness Areas are all the more crowded. pretty country, but too many people. I haven not hunted 13 or 89.

89 is the same way. There will be no shortage of people sharing the woods with you.
13 and 21 aren't quite as steep as 89 is, in a general sense.

There's quite a few elk in all of those units though.

alright fellows. I went out with the bow and hunted a bit of unit 13 and 89. I did miss a bull with the bow in 89. Now I have to go back out with the rifle at some point and hunt again. Can someone recommend a plan of attack?
