I don't do much on Facebook, but the Marketplace is a great place to find deals. Scored these for $80.00 and they were 10 minutes from where I work! I haven't priced them all out individually, but the damn things are expensive! The Canon 8 lb'ers are almost $45.00 a piece!

That’s a good deal for the coated ones no less. 👍

I fish 12# and 15# balls and there’s a guy up here that makes and sells them for a $1.25#.....at least the last I bought some a year or 2 ago. I think he’ll ship them in USPS flat rate box. I think he ships 4 at a time per box. You gotta know that the old biddies and little Filipinos “working” for the USPS probably love getting 60# flat rate boxes because it’s probably good for several days of sick time for pulled muscles.

Good score on those weights! Now you have me thinking of days past where I fished with downriggers.

I miss downrigger fishing for trout and salmon. No place in S. Az for them.

I machined my own downriggers almost 40 yrs ago. Learned how to do it from a friend where I grew up in Rochester. The weights he used were called Herbies. I got a mold and made a lifetime supply of them. They look like a fish and weigh 14 lbs. My favorite release is the Blacks RC-95.

Bet there are only a handful of guys here who know what a slider or stacker setup is.....

Sure could make a lot of bullets for my 45-70-405! Price of lead is sky high now!
