did the 4570 and the 4590 have the same twist? getting old and can't rember. just wondering.

I don't think so. The 45/90 was an "express" cartridge designed for 300 gr bullets, so my understanding is that the twist was slower..

45/90 Winchester twist was 1 in 32.
