Jeepers,

4 days with no breakfast posts?

Everyone eating porridge and Wheaties?

Today's was mostly all homegrown and homemade.

Sauteed red Anaheim pepper, a fried red 'tater, sliced tomato from the garden.

Two eggs from the girls out back.

Some bacon from Canada but not "Canadian Bacon"

Coupla slices of fresh bread right out of the breadmaker.

Topped it off with some really fresh basil, as in I went out to the garden and picked it when I put the lid on the skillet to cook the tops of the eggs some.

And some of my spicy dried pepper flakes from last year's garden.

Nice! My wife makes those on occasion. I'm not into breakfast dishes too much, but I do like them baby bunnies.

Country livin, might as well !

Actually, Deb has always wanted them.

Sure, cheaper & easier to buy from "farming" friends, but it's also easier to microwave a box dinner.

We don't do that either.

i recently read that the way you cook the eggs will affect whether the whites are soft or firm/rubbery
