Sorry but as much as I like it because I am a soccer nut it is simply not as good a product as the men's game. Watch practically any English Champions League game, the Bundesliga, the Spanish, the Italians. That is a good product. USWNT v Thailand? There was nothing of substance to watch there. So overmatched as to be uncompetitive.
If nothing else, the USWNT behavior upon their return has been boorish. Coming off the plane as reps of our country in ballcaps backwards and torn jeans? Are you serious? Generally I cannot take any athlete using sports as a stage for their political activities. Again, they represent all the US not simply one part of it. Act like equals get paid like equals. Until then keep working gals.

They should (or threaten to) lower the men's pay to equal the woman's. That would piss them all off!!

Watch draft day of any profession sport. The guys wear nice clothes, say all the right words, and are respectful. Why? Because they haven't been paid yet by either teams or sponsors. It's only afterward when you see the shenanigans and boorish behavior.
With the USWNT, a few of the clowns are ruining it for everyone. If I were looking for a sports figure to represent my product, I'd look elsewhere.

You could say that if this were an American based league filled with American's competing against fellow Americans. This is more akin to the Olympics than any of our leagues or associates. Their behavior is indefensible.
