Here is one that is a little harder to find. Ruger made these for a couple years in .270 & 30-06 I guess. It has sights! Tang safety.
This one is a 30-06, not a bounces off deer can't kill nothing .270. It looks like it was a hunt gun. Bolt face shows no wear or brass color.
The laminated stock has a few small impressions, worst wear is the ebony tip.
The blue would be very good if not for some rash on the barrel. Looks like it bounced on something hard. I took pics of the flaws I see worth noting.
It has a Nikon Buckmasters 3X9 that looks good, clear glass in see through mount. Comes with the sling too. A handy little do-all carbine.
I am looking for $825. First posted "I'll take it". No trades or paypal.

Is that the version that used screw-on bases instead of Ruger integral bases?

Ruger integral bases. These are “extremely rare” rifles made in the 1987 to 1989 timeframe!

Actually, if you look at the time stamp of posting, jsgwoodsmans' was sold last October. Someone bumped it back again.
I bought mine in a gun shop here in NH.
I'll sell it without the scope/carry handle for $775.

$750 no scope, $800 with.

The RLS carbine should be 18-1/2” & 13–3/4”LOP.

Scope & mount are sold. Bare gun shipped $600 lower 48.
