Never liked a fixed scope on much, other than rimfire or timber guns...😎

Leupold used to make a 7.5x and an 8x... they were both great scopes.

I’d love a fixed 8 as you described.... especially with the 6x style MQ in it.... or even a straight mil-dot.

If I went the fixed route S&B would be a must. the camera land exclusive is pretty nice.

Fred I know Pat (scenar) loves the 10x S&B and it must be tough to hold up to his abuse. Is that camera land special a 6X?
I just have a hard time wrapping my head around the $2500 price tag

10x SS HD is pretty bad ass, and much more refined than the standard Fixed Fugger.

I’m a MOA slut so it’s no go for me but if I had to do x6 only I would probably get a mil scale cheater with it.

The classic SS is just serviceable. The reality is the glass is like old 1989’s Leupold.

“Reallity” is... I’ve never had any issue with the glass on a FF in any real hunting situation. It’s more than serviceable.

The rain and timber on the coast left me not loving the SS Classics
