Navy Sword Case I.D #13974715 07/14/19

OP Cruiser1 Campfire Tracker C Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 6,148 Down South	Picked this up at sale and out of my limited military knowledge base. Is it a case for a ceremonial sword ? Marked "W.R.F." and "U.S.N.". Under the flap is stamped "32"; which appears to be the blade length. It's in great condition. I know Marlow White makes a style of this in nylon; but this is leather; sueded on the inside. What can anyone tell me about this piece? Thanks Last edited by Cruiser1; 07/14/19.

I have two of them (one each for the Marines and Navy) The initials are those of the original officer who owned it.
