You're all making me feel better about not buying Leupolds. grin

Now that's over with, let's talk about real scopes. Euro scopes. Any of them. Or are you all buying Vortex.

I'd like to thank all of the little people who have made Leupold what it is. Whatever that is...or was.

Boy, I am starting to feel bad about using Leupolds.

Nah, just kidding.

I believe that, by extension, they would...or wouldn't. It would depend on when they were made, or not.

I'll stick to my Leupolds. Anybody wants to blame their bad groups on the scope I'll be happy to take the scope off your hands. I'll trade you a few BSA's for a couple of VX-3is. I'll trade a bit of tracking for some clarity and resolution any day. And if you have a few Leupolds you want to trade me for some better scopes such as BSA's or Tasco's or maybe a Simmons or two, I'm all over that.

The losers are always bashing Number 1 or anyone ahead of them really.

Leupold is a very good product and I rate them #3 behind Swarovski who is behind Schmidt & Bender. For Value/price/warranty, then Leupold # 1.

Well then that leaves me out of the "dependable" scope market cuz I ain't putting one of those big, ugly, overweight, sniper wannabe contraptions on my hunting rifles. Funny thing is, I been killing the hell out of deer, woodchucks, coyotes, rabbits and squirrels every season these last 40 odd years while peering through these junky, undependable Weaver, Leupold, Nikon, Sightron and Bushnell scopes I've got. Reckon I'll just keep on doing what I've been doing and ignore the detractors.

Well put!

After 25 years of buying Leupolds, in 2018 I bought:
Nikoplex
Nikon
Nikon
Weaver
Weaver
Sightron
Sightron
Schmidt and Bender
Leupold
Leupold
Leupold
Leupold
Leupold

And in October I took a bunch or rifles out in the sagebrush, sighted in and shot at range for days, and picked the best two for hunting.
3 antelope and 2 deer were killed with Leupolds. One rifle was an old Winchester I converted to 280AI, and one was a new factory gun from Kimber in 280AI.

VX6 up date.

Scope was received by Leupold on the 17th of this month. It’s in shipping and receiving waiting to be processed as of yesterday they said it would probably make it into the system and get on the repair schedule today. (Dane said one week)
So far it’s one week to get in the system.

I’m still a Leupold user, but more and more I believe Leupold was playing games and essentially saying up yours 24Hr. Either that, or they put little thought in who they threw in front of the camera.

Very polite and helpful. They will definitely tell me they found no problems and cleaned and shipped it back.

They'll prolly ship it back with a nice note, that says.-----Your scope was inspected and found to be within spec. Thanks for trusting us at Leupold with all your optic needs.

If those clowns in the videos are the supervisors just think what the help looks like.
