Got this in from Cali a few weeks ago. Haven’t had the time to get out and hurt feelers with it or post pics, but it’s looking WAY more than capable....

6 BRX .120 freebore .292 neck
Bighorn TL3
Hawk Hill 7 twist Marksman
Trigger Tech Diamond
KRG Bravo temporarily

108s running 2970 on FF’d brass don’t suck. Trued DOPE out to 1200 and reckon it’ll make the cut. Top plate is 3 @ 600, second is 1k with a 1/10 put in after the first shot low. ES/SDs are single digits....

No excuses with that set up. What stock/chassis will it end up with?

I don't see many guys who switch to BR variants going away from them, even if George says they don't feed right.

What mags are you using? Everything seems to work decent out of my TL3 Dashers but the AW with HRD kit is the current go to if 10 rounds will suffice.

I’m all ears too as I’m on the edge of building a straight 6mm BR—I think... I’ve got a pair of MDT’s BR mags and 500 pieces of Lapua 6BR Brass in hand. An Ultimatum Precision Deadline is enroute and I’m all but settled on a MPA BA Chassis. I’m thinking a 1:7.5 twist Heavy Palma 28”-30”

Barrel life and no fuss brass led me to the BR. Yet, I still waffle and wonder if I shouldn’t go BRA. The short neck of the BRX was a theoretical turnoff—fretting concentricity issues when feeding loaded rounds out of a mag. Those long bullets have lots of leverage on the short neck.

Working against the Dasher are it’s shorter barrel life, rapidly eroding throat, and chasing tune.

Ultimately, I’m thinking a straight 6 BR will allow me to spend more time shooting and less time fussing over reloading minutiae.

Not sure where that's coming from......

The last Dasher barrel I took off my 1K BR gun had 2600 rounds through it. Never once did I adjust the original load of Varget, running 105 VLD's at 3080, besides adjusting the seater occasionally. In fact, I've never changed any Dasher load after initial load development.

The 6mm BR platform is intriguing, how about the feed issue?
