Really like the lines of that knife.

That's a good haul, not a bad pick in the bunch. Is the watermelon G10? It looks a little translucent like Jade g10.

I've never seen one from that maker, but from afar, they appear nice.

Is it worth the order?

Thank you for your time.

Knife came today. Even better in hand than in the pics. Another dandy by Gene.

I emailed Gene a couple days ago. In case anyone is in immediate need, the 2 knives to the left of your skinner were extras he had for sale.

What’s he call the orange/ white scales?

The pattern is a prototype. The scales are another type of vintage micarta. It's a different colored paper than the Westinghouse that is about gone. This was his first knife with it but said he really likes the character the extra color gives. I wish somebody would scoop it up before I give in.

Gene just sent me an email, my name is up and he's ready to start me a knife. Thinking its gonna be a Lite Skinner.

Yes I do. It would go nicely with the 65 that Winston will have ready in a couple weeks and my first from Dan Crotts a couple weeks after that. I was hoping someone here would snap it up to eliminate the temptation.

Mr David doesn’t disappoint. As much as i like Gene’s knives. I’m a big fan of Winston knives. Visited mr David at his shop about 2 years ago. He’s a hoot! Made me feel welcome. He showed me around and answered all my many questions.
