Rusty, you must be shooting a PCP gun. In the Beeman Crow Magnum gas ram gun I liked the H&N FTT 20.06gr for best accuracy to 50 yds. The Predator GTO non lead 16.54gr for speed , trajectory and it almost shot as well as the H&N.

PCP rules in my hacienda. But the JSB exact King Heavy 33.95 Gr is my go to pellet. We have proven with multiple PCPs that the standard Exact JSB doesn't tune as easily as the Heavies do, and the smack with LDC attached is amazing. I have heard a good smack on squirrels with 22 rimfire but this beats all with LDC and almost silent shot. One gun has a light spring sound, a ping as it fires. The others just shoot with little sound the 150+ yard shots are amazing when the SMACK comes back and the red cloud with feathers around it falls from a grain bin or power line. We have a sometimes use springers and have a small assortment of them. I use the 17 for precision and the 22 for more Ft LBs. Be Well. Rusty

H&N Crow Magnums and my NOE flatnose.
What they give up in accuracy they make up for in terminal slap.
