Makes it the perfect work truck rig IMO....Laffin!
My truck gun is a 6.5 Creed by comparison. If my testis drop one day. I’m gonna get me a serious big bore to roll with.

A semi-truck maybe but not a farm truck. The bunny rabbits are in trouble now!

Damn! read the thread title and thought you may be sporting a capitol 'C' on your fore head Elk, glad to read you 'scoped' a rifle instead. I hear ya. You thought Elk may be wearing a "Weatherby trademark", a semicircular forehead scar. Only time I came close was with a Marlin 45-70, a Redfield Widefield mounted too far back. That was when I was young, full of wizz and vinegar, thinking I had to push 400 gr. bullets at max speed. Had to get my good bud to put in a few sutures. That was the only time, including .458 WM, .404 Jeffery, etc. Oh well, live and learn. Some of us have to learn the hard way... But I haven't forgotten that incident... DF

I have gotten a "Weatherby trademark" just not from a Weatherby rifle. It was a .338 Win and it had a Tasco scope mounted and it belted me right between the eyes! To say the least I have not used a Tasco scope ever since.

DF LOL, yessir on all counts, I got my one and only from one of those light weight knight inlines back in the day, had it loaded to the gills, was sitting on a rock leaning over peering at a nice eight point through the brush, BOOM! pop, chit that hurt. buck ran a semi circle and piled up, drug him off the mountain with one eye closed from the dried blood booger ; ]

Affectionately known as Weatherby Eyebrow up here, and yes I have enjoyed a couple over the past 50+ years.
