Saw that last night. Have the same rifle in coated CM instead of SS, that is currently my centerfire "keeper". As close to an all-around rifle as you can get east of the Mississippi.

Will be interesting to see when where this one ends up...

I have one as well in 270. It may be a FS(what I was told). Sits in a Brown Stock! SOB is light!

I wouldn't mind having this but hunts and using what I got is more important than keep adding when I have too many that I don’t use now.

The only distinction I can remember between FS and KS was that maybe the FS's had iron sights, and KS had a slick barrel. May be others. But I have CRS...

I understand the "more hunting. less collecting." However it is tempting. Only thing I would change would be to swap out the J-wart. And then coat it. And then maybe a Timney. And then maybe... ... Y'all are a bunch of enablers...

I bought a left hand FS in .270 in 1987. It quit grouping in 1995 (never did figure out why) and I had it re-barreled in 6MM-06. It's still a favorite.

Not a hen's tooth. But still brought a decent price at $1,130...
