I’ve got Moultrie cams. Two I bought as refurbs from Natchez Shooting Supplies several years ago and one I got at Cabelas in Boise about the same time. Refurbs are probably just as reliable as new ones.

Walmart has some Moultrie cams on markdown for around $50.

I recently called Bushnell due to some problems with my Bushnell game cam and when talking about cameras, the tech recommended these $28.88 trail cameras from Walmart, if looking for multiple cameras at a low price.

No first hand experience with them though.

Stay away from the Bushnell, go with Moultree. I had a Bushnell that would drain batteries way to quickly!

Look at the ratings from web sites like SG

Retrieved my game cam yesterday. It’ been out there since October 2018. 4480 pictures of cows, 12 pics of pigs, 3 Raccoons, 2 Coyotes & 3 Whitetail does.

Both of my cameras are Bushnell Trophy 8’s. Not a minute of trouble. They run a year on one set of batteries.

I have 5 of the tasco cameras, and leave them out year round. Replace batteries every 9 to 10 months depending on picture count, and am very happy with them. Plan to get a few more. They are good for the price, to get better pictures you have to pay more. Depends what you want, fewer trail cameras and better pictures, or more cameras covering more area. I choose more cameras.

I have used moultrie and stealthcam in that price range. They take lots of pictures but miss some pictures they should have taken.

I have used quite a few different game cameras over the years. Started years ago with 35mm and progressed as time went on. Paid over $200. a couple of times ten or more years ago when the money went a little farther. Lately I have been using several of the cheaper cameras and am happy with the results. Latest have been some of the Wildgame cameras in the 40 - 50 dollar class. Seem to work well. Depends on what you want. I run about 5 or 6 cameras at a time on private property and I like the coverage and results.

I like the Coverts. Battery life is amazing, pics are plenty good. I think they run right at $100.
Here's a few pics from my elk waterhole.

Nice, centershot! Where's the "Like" button?

We bought a couple of middle of the road Browning Strike Force cameras a couple of years ago for under $100 a piece. Battery life has been amazing, including being left on all winter at temperatures getting as low as -30 without losing power. The trigger speed is not super fast, which may not matter for bait sights or water hole type settings. We set ours for 10 second videos.

Slow trigger speed:

Usual critter speed
