Do all new haven made CRF model 70's have the older "open" style trigger? If not at what serial # did it change over?

Yes. Up until the shutdown in 2006. In 2008, browning arms co implemented their own trigger to go into the new model 70. At that time the moa was introduced.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

^^^^^^^ That's a great line. Probably not true of JMB himself, but I get your point. How many years did the original trigger design just flat work, and then Browning decides to fook with it?
