Kilamanjaro Summited #14022855 08/03/19 Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 17,388 David_Walter OP Campfire Ranger OP David_Walter Campfire Ranger Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 17,388 After 48 years of dreaming of this (read "Snows of Kilimanjaro" when I was 12), finally climbed to the Roof of Africa with my wife and others. There's a whole story, and I'm working on that, but here's the summit picture. Me in front left with the tan pants. Heidi is in the red jacket. 365 days after retiring from the USAF, USAFR and Air Guard. 21 July 2019 at 1424 hrs Tanzania local time. “Live free or die.
