LGS got one in, VR Belgian. Forend has small crack, fixable.
Some dings and dents..........worn from hunting but not abused.
Has swivels.
I'm thinking perfect bunny or private ground dove gun (mod).
Have to run non toxic for dove on F&W areas.

Have other 12 ga I could use.

Priced at six. Wonder how low they'd go.

20 Magnums in good shape going 1200$ and up in my area. 600$ will get you a 2 3/4"' worn model and 900$ 3" descent gun in 12 Gauge. Supply and demand.

I have an 1100 magnum 12.
Just looking for a bunny popper.
Might head in with an offer next week.

Not a fan of the A5. But in 20 it feels decent.

I have a 1967 Belgian Light 20 with vent rib 28" modified barrel and with very nice wood in mint condition that I gave $1100 for. One of the people at Midwest Gun Works told me he had one like mine that he sold locally last year for $1800. I live in Browning country so prices may be a little inflated in this neck of the woods as the Belgian guns are highly sought after.

They have a couple of 12 A5's from the same estate.
None mint.
Think this the only one w VR.
I'll go in Tuesday and check it out again, have some cash in pocket.
No 20 ga in the house at the moment.

Ol lady says buy the SKB200 instead. It's a couple hundred more. Not mint.
The A5 is thin and points better for me. But am used to pumps/autos.

$600 seems like a good price for a Belgian A5 20. The ones I see run $800 and up

That's not a bad price at all. I have one I bought here a few months ago for $395. It was pretty rough. I spend $185 to have it reblued and trigger gold plated. Forearm had a large crack also. Relieved wood and glued fiberglass mesh in and refinished stock and forearm. Turned out a nice gun. I bought action and recoil spring plus friction piece from Art's and have probably more than $600 in mine now. Hope to use as a rabbit gun if the two pups I just bought work out. All twentys are Light Weight whether marked are not. They only marked them as so during last years of Belgium years. I have four of the A5s and three of the Remington 11s. New springs will tame the recoil if you think it may be kicking more than it should. Most of these guns where bought to be used and have been though a spring cycle by now.

All 20's are Lightweight unless they are Magnums. A Belgian 20 is a great rabbit gun. Hope those pups are great rabbit dogs. Look forward to pictures of your Auto Five, beagles and rabbits for the skillet.

I honestly appreciate that. Hope to have some pictures if pups decide they want to hunt. They're four monthes old and I get them out for a while every day. Foxes have made rabbits scarce in my neck of woods .

I had em put it back for me.
Pick it up next week.
500 plus tax.

I have a. 760 in .35rem that is dinged/worn so itll have a comparable safe buddy. Ill check the springs/collars....will replace if need be.

Both old guns will last beyond my time. Just add a few more dings and dents before the next owner.

Best buy on a decent shape A5 I've seen in long, long while. Google Art's Gunshop if you need any springs. Really good people to deal with. Call them and don't try buying off the website, just take my word for that. If you can get the 12 gauges for anywhere near as good a price you got that 20 gauge, you can recoop some money and may even pay for your 20 gauge with a couple of fair sales on the 12 gauges. The 20s are worth about a 20% premium on the 12s usually. I never find deals like that.

I grew up following beagles running rabbits. I love rabbit hunting! One of the reasons I value the Auto Five so much was that a Sweet Sixteen was dad's favorite rabbit and quail gun. His old round knob Belgian Sweet was a 26" plain barrel improved cylinder and dad was deadly with it. He also had a Light Twelve vent rib 1 2 gauge but favored the 16 gauge.
