I put quite a bit of effort into making the 7mm 195 EOL shoot in a bench gun.
its a long story but I wasnt impressed accuracy wise.
On a computer program there very seductive.
On target at 500 yards.
Not so much.

I personally see no use in going to the Bergers over the 147s. But everybody has to have a catchy name for the CF, flat billed gang....

Daughter is trying the 147s this year. Had 100% success with the 140 vld over the years. Had poor success with the 180 ELD-M on a few critters and moved on from those in 7mm. Hoping the 147 behaves at a 2700 fps muzzle velocity. I have no issue trying the 156 in an upcoming 6.5-284 and would expect them to be as accurate and good on meat as the 140s. Or may take the easy route and just shoot the 140s in it. Rambling this am, but I like more options in bullets not fewer. And I don't have a flat bill lol.

Kurt I love the 140’s in my 6.5 ai, very good performance

TIC Kurt....

I imagine you’ll dig those 147s at CM/Lapua speeds. Personally I left Bergers a long time ago due to them being too finicky, “soft” and inconsistent from lot to lot. Granted all was before the Hybrids, but when I went to Scenars and Hornady I never went back.

Would love to see a heavier 6.5 Scenar.

Agreed on a heavier scenar, those have been quite nice on meat. And imagine the 2700 fps will make a lot of these bullets behave pretty well. That said I still want to try a 156 eol at around 2950 fps.

Definitely picky about depth. But the 54.7 at .005 will be amazing if it’s moving over 3k

Got very light ejector marks at 55.5.
My gun seems like it’s tight most of my loads are 1 to 1.5 grains under what everybody else posts.

"Fascinating" Dumbfhuqktitiude,to "laude" an increase in mass/recoil,along with reduced speed and lesser BC...then "cite" 4-digits of "jump". Hint. LAUGHING!

Boogers simply deviate more than the .0050" proffered,as do her schit brass. Hint.

'Course she hasn't the tools on hand to cite same, nor the dies. Hint.

Nor could she cite freebore diameter or length. Hint.

But "lucklily" Imagination and Pretend are free,so she can talk about that...the "lucky" kchunt. LAUGHING!

A velocity was "nearly" cited, but she knew better.

EPIC fhuqking humor!

LAUGHING!

Hint.........................

Brother Dave keeping the family safe while you are on the bottle sugartits. LOL.

You poor fat fûck. It’s all about killing on my end, your paper punching creeds ain’t fast enough to open a Christmas present so Uber soft bullets snake by like you at a weight watchers meeting. Once a little gas is applied bullets matter. LOL I’ll take the Berger’s as I’ve seen Eldm at creed speed so adding 300 FPS seems like a poor Choice. (And we all know how you make good choices). LOL.
But it’s rich that you and Jud agree.

The 195 EOL lands in tiny groups when shot out of my Ryan Pierce built 28 Nosler.

I haven't "agreed" with anyone, just a common sense question, why give up velocity and bc outta the gate when building a long range rig? 2 of the easiest things a guy can control.

My apologies Jud I was implying fatty agrees with you! sugartits seems to be sucking your ass wonder if he’s hoping you can give pointers on how he can get a kill this year. I’m hoping he tries his hand at elk or something that a baby can’t find and kill. LOL.

What problems did you have with the 180s? I've been loading them in my 28 nosler and 280 ai and I've been looking for a 7-08 fieldcraft to shoot them with too. They shoot great from my 28 at 3200 fps over rl 33. I have yet to use them on game.
