I would like to mount a TLR1 on a BCM 11.5" pistol. It has a BCM MLOK handguard. Would appreciate suggestions for an excellent mount. TIA. This is the upper. https://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM...LOK-MCMR-10-p/bcm-urg-11-bfh-mcmr-10.htmHere's the finished pistol.

LD, I guess I don't understand the question. The TLR1 will fit to any rail piece, so what are you looking for beyond a piece of MLOC rail such as this? https://palmettostatearmory.com/magpul-m-lok-aluminum-rail-section-5-slots-mag581.htmlAre you also looking for a tape switch and pressure pad? If so, look up the part number of your TLR-1 on the streamlight site to make sure you get the one that fits.
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.

LD, Take a look at the products from Arisaka Defense. I have one of their 45 degree offset mounts from. Keymod to picatinny rail that I have a flashlight mount to on a MCX. Good stuff

antelope_sniper, thanks for the response. Been a little rugged doing internet research last several days. Daisy chain of hardware failures with my internet connection. Finally got that straightened out (I hope). The print in the manual is so tiny, I sure can't read it. Now that I'm not limited to doing research on my phone, I just might be able to figure it out. :}
That piece may be exactly what I need. Thanks.
And yes, I do have the remote pressure switch.

I was actually looking at one of theirs this morning. Funny, it was recommended on ar15.com and had a link to Palmetto State selling it. But, I don't see it on Arisaka's website.

Why not mount it 12 o’clock on the rail?

Perzactly!
Move the front sight back and place the light right in front, no shadows to worry about or bouncing it off barricades and you'll still have a clean sight path.

Thanks, Form and TWR. Might try that. Got that recommendation on another forum, too.

yup, like this. The point being to make it accessible from either side (shooting right or left handed), and with less significant shadow than mounting underneath the handguard. The shadow is more pronounced with a suppressor, maybe no big deal without, depending on your setup. Moving the sight back shortens the sight radius some, but is worth the trade-off.

“Like” icon for your new rent collector. 👍🏻😎 Thanks, Beave. Although it may mutate into a roofer prod. Just got the light all figured out and ordered everything I needed to get it running on the gun.
