Anyone used this ammo or these bullets on deer or other medium game? They have them in bulk clearance at Midway so I got a couple hundred to try out. I've got a couple of 1-9 twist 223s along with a 1-9 twist 22-250 to try them in. The BC on them is crap, but I'm not going to hunt deer at long range with any 22cal rifle anyway.

I would use based simply on the Interlock's reputation and build.

If it's Hornady - it's good.

Had good luck with the 55 grain version in 223 so the slower velocity should make the 75s even better at penetration with more bullet to expand too. They should hold up to 22-250 velocities as well. I would test to at least 300 yds. to make sure the 1-9 is enough twist in the 223, it should be plenty in the 22-250. But those are not exceptionally long for a 75 grain bullet so should work for both rifles.

I have never used this bullet, but I only use Hornady Interlocks in my .270. For 10 years it is my one constant out in the field.
