Thinking about ordering two McMillan stocks for a pair of varmint rifles.. Blued action and stainless barrels.
Wondering if there is any molded in colors you prefer for that combo?
Not to flashy..

JPro, Impeccable timing - I was just searching for one of your photos in the custom sticky. I always thought this was about the right amount of lively and different yet still not "flashy". Colors are 50% blue, 25%gray, 25% black. 70 black and 30 white (or light gray) looks great with about any combo.

The right color blue or yellow would look good instead of pink with the grays.

Steelhead used to post a picture of a Howa 1500 in a McMillan Swirly in Salmon color. I always drooled over it.

I’ve had dark red/black, red/black, and medium blue/black. My favorite was the dark red/black. Years ago, Big Stick posted one of his rigs in a “desert flame” pattern. It is one of the sharpest looking McMillan’s I’ve ever seen. The new Carbon Ambush options are very cool too. My Desert Carbon Ambush pictured below. Also have a look at the “Let’s See Your McSwirlys” thread at the top of the page. Still a lot of pics there that could give you some ideas. John
