Just bought 3 for $1,027.00 from PSA. For $342.50 ea I'm wondering why I didn't buy a lot more. I only bought 'em because my "several" Colt 6920's were lost in that terrible boating accident.
Now is THE time to BTFD (buy the [bleep] dip) in gun prices. Reloading components, loaded ammo, hi cap mags etc.. these are the days you'll look back on and wish you'd stocked up. Just curious.. What would you call the last 15-17 years? I'd call it a roller coaster, what would you call it? You couldn't buy .22lr ammo just a few years now you can buy 5000 rds for a few hundred bucks. A few years ago I saw Magpul 30rd mags at a gun show for $100ea. And you couldn't find powder anywhere. These are THE good old days

I've got one AR--a 6920. That's all I need--no kids and the wife isn't a shooter. I have two types of guns--fun guns--plinkers, target and hunting and serious guns--serious social purpose ones. I keep the first type in the majority while the second is a necessary evil. I work in a tacticool-orientated gunshop and so many other employees and customers only own the second type. They don't enjoy their guns.

Looks like it has no full length top rail, and no front sight on the gas tube. That means you are forced to either get a full length rail installed or only use an electronic or optic sight.
They've got enough rail to mount a scope. And $175 more than a comparable PSA and $30 more than a comparaple S&W M&P sport.

Buy 'em and stack 'em. Hurry That's what the Colonists did. They hid and buried powder, shot, muskets and canons from the Redcoats.

They don't enjoy their guns. Can't own the first type if you don't own the second type to protect your right to own the first type. I have no less a right to own a firearm to defend myself and my family than I do to breathe air. A good govt is one that fears it's constituents.

Right before I lost about 200 of them in a terrible flood..

The day I bought Bud's had several variants still in the boxes and on pallets in the shop. All were in the $500-$550 range.
The QRC was the lightest available in that price range. It was bare bones with an ultralight barrel.

Wouldn't lose sleep over govt vs "ultra light" barrel profile on an AR personally

Condolences to those who have lost ARs, components and magazines. Be strong brothers,

Wouldn't lose sleep over govt vs "ultra light" barrel profile on an AR personally I don't lose sleep over any of it. It was just a preference. If you want to go "light" with an AR, the ultra light barrel profile is necessary. Then there's smaller matters,...like elimination of the front sight on the gas block. A big part of my choosing the AR was the ability to configure one that's very light. The QRC was the lightest in the base price range at the time.
