I have had all 3 iterations of the one inch tube but never a 30mm model. Who has one and how did they like them?
Thanks

There's LOTS to like about this model. I've had both it and two of the 3-12x56. These are geared towards performance in low-light and are more neutral in terms of image contrast/vibrance during daylight, so they may not have the "pop" or "wow" factor of scopes like the S&B Stratos or the Leica Eri. But they come into their own as the light fades and then show their true strength.
The illumination goes very dim, too.
Everything about this scope is first-rate.

I have a 2.5-10x50 Helia C 30mm tube non-illuminated that is the cat’s meow. A good clear optic with really good low light performance. It’s a bit bulky but just right for my .300 Weatherby Mark V. My other Kahles AH scope is just as good for a 1” tube. Wish I could afford more of them.

I have the Kahles 662904 L Helia CL 3x10x50 I got in 2010 from CDNN for $640. I put it on a 7mmRM I built on VZ24 action. I shot mule deer and antelope with it. It is not that easy for me to deal with turrets.
