Geno, she was a chilly one this morning, 40F and 95% humidity, had to wear a sweatshirt!

MT, I've been spending most of my time down on the river bottom and have noticed quite a few pheasant chicks. Maybe a few more than normal?

We'll be moving up to the hills later this week and then I'll have a better idea on the Huns and Sharptails. Have seen a few just driving the county roads though so they are out there.

Thanks Hanco and Rong!

I left the farm in 1990 and came back 7 years ago....I am am amazed how we can raise corn now days...dad still lives in tha past and thinks our dry spells are killing our corn yealds..till I got here his 24k population would only produce about 150 bu on the best years...
Now we are doing 180-200 on marginal years...
What maturity you planting ? I'm betting less than 100 day...we do 110- 117 day here...
It blows me away seeing corn in the desert ...

Sam, we're right behind you here in sunny California.

44F this morning, but not much humidity. 59% or some such right now. Enough to have dew on the lawn though.

I need to ask the locals what they're thinking for the upcoming winter, haven't been here long enough to read the sign myself grin

Sweatshirt is about to come off, put it on to feed the chickens. Sun is out now and temps up to 45!

Enjoy your days.

Geno

I noticed that a long time ago. I can take a picture of a rose and it'll look like a cow turd. It's funny how some people just have the touch that allows them to take extra nice photos.
