Looking at the forend and barrel channel on an edge fill compact pattern and I'm reluctant to start drilling from the side. Barrel channel inlet is for a Douglas #2. Anyone tried adding a left side flush cup to the slim forend of the compact pattern?

I put one on the bottom of the buttstock on an M600 shorty designed as a Scout. The QR cup broke out, gun dropped. I now have to thread the aluminum frame inside and make a flush cup sling fixture. Will be interesting but they said "Don't do it." So I did it even though HS said not to. You pay the price sometimes. Good luck and Be Well. Rusty

Yeah, when they say no....it's probably wise to listen.
Null point now. The DBM I had planned is a no go.
